About the Event
Cyanotypes are one of the oldest photographic printing processes in the history of photography. In this safe and fun chemical process, the ultraviolet light from the sun “exposes” images, creating beautiful cyan shades. It was mastered and popularized by Anna Atkins who used the method to print botanical and textile specimens, which are still some of the most common themes in cyanotyping today.

The studio provides all materials and: plain plates, cups, bottle openers, and ice for you to enjoy your time with us! Classes start on time. Please come 10 minutes early to check in and get ready to have fun!!
