New! Four Weeks -Oil Paint Dog Portrait With Virginia Lago!

This course is a comprehensive study of color theory and color mixing, with a focus on creating a three-dimensional illusion on a two-dimensional surface. The course will run for four weeks, starting on Sep9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th. During this time, students will learn the layers and steps involved in oil painting to bring a painting to completion, covering all aspects of sketching, face features, and refinement. The classes will revolve around creating dog portraits, and each student will paint their dog picture while being guided by the instructor. You will learn to make artistic decisions and incorporate your unique style and handwriting into your Dog Portrait painting.

This course will include all the materials that we will be using in the studio. You are welcome to bring your own materials if you prefer. Mrs. Virginia will guide the first class, including a list of basic materials for you to have for practice at home!

The instructor, Virginia Lago, is an industrial designer and artist with over 30 years of teaching experience. She is also a professional artist who specializes in animal paintings. You can view her work on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube under Virginia Lago Art.

Our Refund/Cancellation Policy states that all registrations are non-refundable. However, if you inform us of your cancellation at least 24 hours in advance, we will maintain a store credit for you that will be valid for 3 months. Additionally, if we do not have the minimum number of attendees by noon on the day of the event, we will refund your money. Please note that we cannot provide studio credit if you do not give us prior notice of your cancellation.
