About the Event
This course is a comprehensive study of color theory and Color mixing, focusing on creating a three-dimensional illusion on a two-dimensional surface. The course will run for four weeks. During this time, students will learn the layers and steps involved in oil painting to complete a painting, covering all aspects of sketching, face features, and refinement. The classes will revolve around creating dog portraits, and each student will paint their dog picture while being guided by the instructor. You will learn to make artistic decisions and incorporate your unique style and handwriting into your Dog Portrait painting.
This course will include all the materials that we will be using in the studio. You are welcome to bring your own materials if you prefer. Mrs. Virginia will guide the first class, including a list of basic materials for you to have for practice at home!
