Paint Your Selfie - Virtual or In-Person Artsy Party Ages 12 & up! SOLD OUT

This Virtual painting class is great for those of you who want to try a new technique, using acrylic, to paint your selfie in the Pop Art Style!

Paint with us, find your special place, wear your comfortable clothing, have your favorite food and drinks, and enjoy this experience at home! 

We will guide you in mixing colors and using brushes to create your masterpiece!!

Here's how it works:

1)You send your favorite selfie to me (one per painter) not later than Sept.17th! to artforlife3616@gmail.com.          

2)We send back a sketch of your selfie to print at home and suggested Pop Art colors use in your painting.

3)Transfer your sketch using tracing paper after you print your image!  Be sure to transfer your images on a heavy paper like mixed-media paper, watercolor paper, cardstock, or even on canvas (Black, 11" x 14" or 12" x 16" canvas recommended). 4)You buy these supplies (Michaels, Hobby Lobby, or Walmart):

- Black Canvass (11 x 14/ 12x 16)

- Acrylic paints, or watercolor or tempera 

- Sharpies

- Paper towel or rag

- Water cup (for your brushes, not to drink!) 

- a large flat brush, a medium round, and a medium flat brush, a few smaller brushes for detailing! 

 

NOTE: If you live close to our studio, we can sell you all the materials needed for $15. We can also do the sketch for you on an 11"x 14", 12" x 16" or 9" x 12" watercolor paper for $10. Just let me know in advance! 

5)You have fun splashing colors and painting your selfie!
